Our purpose is to provide decent, affordable, and environmentally sound housing for those persons for whom such aspirations might otherwise be impossible. The Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity recognizes the importance of providing participating families with an opportunity not only to improve their living conditions, but also to enhance their sense of self-worth, hope, and dignity through a partnership with a caring Christian community.
